The Louisiana Register published several emergency rules in January which are of interest to our members. As part of our continued efforts to keep you informed, we have developed the following summaries of the proposed administrative rules. Emergency Rule Update
With the start of the new year, the Department of Health and Hospitals, Bureau of Health Services Financing, enacted several emergency rules which merely continue the provisions of previously enacted emergency rules regarding payments and reimbursements. DHH rescinded the October 1, 2015 emergency rule regarding the allocation of the new opportunities waiver (NOW). Effective immediately, the department shall return to the provisions in place prior to October 1, 2015 governing the allocation of waivers. The full text of the rule can be found below.
