White Coat Wednesday is a chance for you to join your colleagues to learn more about government affairs and how best to approach your legislator regarding health care issues. The day begins at the Capitol Park Welcome Center at 7:45 a.m. for registration and a light breakfast. LSMS President William “Beau” Clark, MD will welcome attendees and give a brief overview. The LSMS advocacy team will review the leading medical and patient bills of the day. Participants will walk to the Capitol to visit selected committee hearings.
This is your chance to wear your white coat and be a part of our advocacy team. Legislators notice when physicians and members participate as one unified voice on important health care issues. The LSMS encourages you to join us on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 and be a medical advocate for the day!
Please RSVP to Sarah Edwards at firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday, April 28, 2017.
